Der dritte und letzte Band über Jaga und Woland. Mir persönlich hat es sehr gut gefallen, vor allem weil der größte Teil aus der Sicht von Woland zu lesen ist was uns allen nochmals eine komplett neue Sicht auf die Beziehung zwischen der beiden bringt. Trotzdem hätte ich gerne mehr aus Jagas Sicht gelesen, gerade zum Ende hin um ihre Gedanken besser nachvollziehen zu können. Ich liebe wirklich dieses komplette Worldbuilding, und freue mich jetzt schon, dass sie in der Danksagung ein Spin Off erwähnt! Ich liebe einfach den Schreibstil von Layla Fae und finde die slawische Mythologie wahnsinnig spannend. Ich kann mir definitiv vorstellen noch viel mehr aus dieser Mythologie zu Gemüte zu führen. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung meinerseits! Und falls jemand noch Fragen zum Spicefaktor hat, dieser ist definitiv teils gegeben, aber nimmt nicht das ganze Buch ein, wobei es definitiv auch eine Szene gab, die ich etwas absurd fand und laut auflachen musste. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, bin ich sogar fast traurig, dass diese Reise jetzt zu Ende ist, aber ich freue mich einfach auf den Winter, wenn das Spin Off rauskommen soll! 🫶🏻
Was a good idea to get into Wolands head because after the book 1 & 2 it was hard to like him at all. But I hated that we only got like 5 chapters from Jagas POV. I liked her character development and also Wolands flaws coming to the surface. But I missed good side characters having a life and story. All the pining I usually like was depressing and annoying. I think this series had the potential to be something totally new - and book 1 still had this promise in it but from book 2 on it’s just fucking, toxic behavior and unnecessary violence. My low rating is because there is a lack of plot and honestly this book made me lose any sympathy for Jaga and Woland. It’s not because it’s dark - but it just lacks of finesse for me personally.
