Lieblingsbücher aus Teenagerzeit wieder lesen.
Ein Briefroman, den ich als Jugendliche immer und immer wieder las. Das Reread hat sich gelohnt! Das Buch ist witzig und süß (ich habe mich genau erinnert an welchen Stellen ich früher laut gelacht habe!) Und ich bin nur so durch die Seiten geflogen. Es geht um Freundschaft, Familie, die erste Liebe...hach. Ich weiß noch immer, warum ich es so mochte und es wird auch jetzt noch nicht meinen Bücherschrank verlassen.
I wonder why everybody likes this novel. I found it quite boring. Why do people always assume that teenagers are that self-centered? Oh, damn, a pimple. In other parts of the world people are starving, but pimples are more relevant, right? That's what this book feels like. Like teenagers in the eyes of authors (not only this one, I have to say) are plain stupid and only care about themselves and maybe sometimes about their friends. I hated this cliche when I was a teen and totally different and I still hate it, so this novel kept me annoyed until I gave up reading it.
