Ich bin auf dieses Buch erst gestoßen, nachdem ich die Serie bei Apple TV+ gesehen habe, welche mir richtig gut gefiel. Die Thematik ist ernst und der Schreibstil ist packend. Ich flog quasi nur so durch die Seiten. Es gibt immer wieder Transkribte der Verhöre, was mir sehr gefiel. Beides, Serie und Buch, ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert 👍
Guter Justizthriller
Ein klassischer Justizthriller der sich viel im Gericht und im Verhör abspielt, nebenher erfährt man die Geschehnisse, ein Junge wird des Mordes angeklagt, aber tatsächlich beweisen kann man es nicht. Was passiert mit der Familie in dieser Zeit? Vertrauen- Misstrauen… genauso geht es dem Leser, man ist sich nie sicher und kann gut verstehen was passiert. Das Ende ist nicht ganz becriedigend, dennoch auch überraschend. Man bleibt nachdenklich, der Fall ist nicht einfach und ein Staatsanwalt möchte ich auch nicht sein.
Die Story ist packend, ohne dabei reisserisch zu sein. Die Enthüllung des Täters sowie das Ende lassen viel Raum für Spekulationen und eigene Intepretationen offen. Davon bin ich normalerweise zwar kein Fan, aber hier hat es dazu geführt, dass ich noch einen Tag später über die Ereignisse im Buch nachdenke; und das ist in der Regel ein gutes Zeichen.
