This felt more like a soap opera or other kind of drama than a murder mystery. While it had its moments and the characters were interestingly written, it just didn't blow me away as much as some other Christie novels. If you need a variation from how Christie's books usually are, maybe this is worth a shot. For me it was quite entertaining, but a little to dramatic and the ending didn't feel perfectly satisfying either.
Am Anfang bin ich wegen der vielen Charaktere nur schwer ins Buch reingekommen. Zum Ende hin wurde es aber echt nochmal spannend als der Fall aufgelöst wurde.
Krimis sind wohl nicht mein Genre? Fands jetzt nicht so besonders, aber ich mochte die schrullige Lady Angkatell irgendwie. :)
