Also, dieses Buch hat wieder ein ziemliches Gefühl vom dunklen Turm gegeben, also von der Reihe. Wir haben wieder Roland, der weiter den schwarzem Mann verfolgt. Dabei trifft er auf die Stadt Tull, wo dieser schwarze Mann bereits einiges an schaden angerichtet hat bzw ihm eine falle stellte. Natürlich schläft Roland mal wieder mit einer Frau, findet langsam heraus was der schwarze Mann dort tat, und muss schluss endlich wieder zu seiner Waffe greifen. Von daher wiederholen sich die Themen, aber es gab bereits Vorhersehungen, die später in der Reihe auftauchen werden, was ganz cool war.
