Einer der besten Fantasy Plots die ich je gelesen hab! Die Twists waren so krass

Emotional Damage. I am just staring at the wall and can’t grasp the ending. The dynamics, the tension, the twists and lies. It would have been 5 stars, the middle part felt just felt a bit too long (and some povs didn’t seem necessary.) Can’t wait for book 3.

If I drank a shot every time the male protagonists says "We have to stop [INSERT NAME HERE]", I'd be drunk 30 pages into the book. In comparison to the first installment of this series, this books brought a couple of ideas and concepts to the table which I really enjoyed, though the overall story and plot still move at a snail's pace and are incredibly draggy. Female characters and side-characters are treated abysmally and feel like nothing but an afterthought. There are so indifferently written, it is impossible to care for them. Though the introduction of new characters such as Visander brings a vaster variety of POVs to the table, the story still lacks Pacat's usual electric and sexy tension between her figures. A shame. In my opinion this series would be more enjoyable if it was faster paced. I can see the series' potential on the horizon, but I don't know if I'll finish the race to get there.
