Description

Missing someone doesn’t mean you made the wrong decision in letting go.
It’s ok to wish things could have worked. And it’s ok to keep walking. I know it’s hard to trust, but you belong.
And no matter how much darkness you’re carrying, you deserve to love and be loved. There’s strength in honoring your needs.
Strength in giving yourself the best possible chance to succeed by going at your own pace and being mindful of what you’re currently able to give. This is for anyone who needs a reminder that you deserve to take up space in the world and that you are enough. In her first poetry collection, Daniell gives voice to the fear and anxiety, as well as the perseverance and strength, that has been fundamental to her own personal growth journey and the path to deeper and more meaningful self-love and acceptance. In her own words, this book is for “the 17-year-old Daniell who was convinced she was worthless; who was convinced she would never survive or amount to anything. This is for the friends and family who never stopped believing in and supporting her. This is for all the people who feel that they have to shrink and hide who they are in order to be loved and accepted and worth something."

Erstes Poetry-Buch

Ich habe jetzt angefangen jeden Morgen ein „Gedicht“ zu lesen - & I love it! Fande die Thematik so schön & habe mich meistens morgens richtig gut gefühlt. Leider fand ich es teilweise repetitiv. Bin auf mein Nächstes gespannt. 🪐

A sweet little reminder that it takes time to heal and that that's okay.

"Maybe healing means trusting that no matter how many times we have to recreate ourselves and redirect our path, we will end up where we are meant to be." (p. 79) For me this thought catalog book is a little too repetitive and too generic. It doesn't really feel relatable to me and could also be a result of a chatgpt prompt - very on the surface level. I still enjoyed some of the book and like the general idea and message of the thoughts of Daniell Koepke.

Daring to take up space

Wonderful book with poetry. It gave me a feeling of not being alone with my feelings.
