Darcy takes the role of the hero protecting her from her family. Too bad he sets his sights on Abby's brother, who immediately has heart eyes for Darcy too. It sounded like a quirky little novella, and while I did enjoy it mostly, the writing was lacking. The whole shoving it in your face, like THIS is what I mean, do you get it reader? Do you? Yes, we do. It's right there. Gaaah. A bit more trust would be nice.
