Description
I’m in love with two brothers who are sworn enemies. The dragon shifter and heir to the throne, Jaik… and his disgraced brother Caldren, leader of the rebels.
And possibly, I’m just a little bit in love with twin brothers who are my sworn enemies.
But I don’t have time to unravel the tangled lies and knots of love surrounding us all, because we’ve been assigned to hunt down the Lord of the Scourge, the man leading the cursed masses who are destroying our kingdom.
And all the while, these men I love are increasingly suspicious about who I really am… What will happen to us all when they discover the knight they treat so cruelly is also the woman they love?

Dangerous Honor starts directly where Forbidden Honor left off. The dragon royals brought Honor and her sister to safety. Since the two royal princes worked together in order to safe her, she hasn't lost all hope, that she might get them to reconcile. At the beginning Honor focuses on healing and although she is feeling a lot better physically, the branding is still preventing her from shifting into her dragon. But, nevertheless, even if she would be able to shift, she still wouldn't be able to shift in front of the young royals, because they still don't know who she really is. And while she's at the castle waiting for her men, who are doing some military exercises in winter, she finds another secret in the castle dungeon. By the way, Alina, the sister of the golden twins, lives in the neighbouring castle and Honor is hopeful to get her on her side, becoming friends with her and helping her out of her misery in the process. Meanwhile Branok still thinks that she is up to something and the old dragon royals fear her and her influence on the younger royals and hence try separating her from their sons. Before I started reading Dangerous Honor, I read a few reviews that criticised the fact that hardly anything happens in the book and that there are a lot of mistakes. As far as the plot is concerned, I can't agree with that. The book was again very exciting and you can't just jump from one adventure to the next, you need a bit of a tension build-up. One thing that I have to agree on is her healing process being a bit unrealistic though. Nevertheless, I loved the book, especially because we suddenly have so many more perspectives, experience different trains of thought and get away from the academy. However, I definitely have to agree about the mistakes. I don't have a problem with the odd mistake in a book, even editors can miss something, that's human. But the work here was simply sloppy. It's no longer just about spelling and grammatical errors, but also absolute confusion for the reader, as names are mixed up in the middle of scenes. It's particularly bad in one chapter, where not even the author seemed to know which twin was which. Despite all this, the story is exciting and dramatic and we finally get answers, but only a few, including some disturbing ones and the ending.... major cliffhanger warning...
