I hesitated a short while before reading this book for two reasons : first, I didn't read the first one and I didn't really feel interested, second, I didn't really know how I felt about non-humanoide aliens. Turns out, you don't really need to read the first book and I'm fine with anything, apparently. The story is really interesting, about this predator who looks like a predator to everyone around him, but he doesn't know he's a predator. About surviving and aceptance from others. And of course about finding love in spite of appearances. I really loved it, H and h have great chemestry from the start and they complete each other so well. H has a bit of a Sheldon feel to him which was really funny and h was just bad*ss and in charge and that's what we love! Read it, even if you think you won't like the non-human looking hero, give it a try you could be surprised.
