Creepy aber cute.
Erinnert ein wenig an "Kitaro", besonders die Yokai/Geister nur sind die Storys unheimlicher und präziser gezeichnet. Der Katzenauge-Junge ist dabei auch noch irgendwie süß (ich mag leicht morbides Zeug). Auch der Horror kommt nicht zu kurz, jedenfalls nicht für leicht besaitete. Denke für HardcoreFans wäre Cat-Eyed Boy eher zu lasch, aber für mich war es creepy genug. Die Geschichten haben eine gute Länge. Unser Junge fungiert als Zuschauer des Geschehen, wird aber oft mit hineingezogen, weil er, typisch Katze, sehr neugierig ist. Schließlich passiert überall da, wo er auftaucht, etwas seltsames, ob nun bei den Menschen oder den Monstern. Der Artstyle ist klassisch 60er/70er Jahre und ich finde ihn sehr toll. Das hat einfach ein ganz besonderen Reiz, weswegen ich Fan von klassisch "alt" gezeichneter Mangas bin. 🤩
