Ich werde mit den Büchern dieser Autorin einfach nicht warm. Ich wollte eigentlich nie wieder etwas von ihr lesen, wurde aber von dem wunderhübschen Cover angezogen. Leider hält der Inhalt dem Cover nicht stand. Erzählt wird eine moderne Version von Romeo und Julia. Aber für mich zog es sich unnötig in die Länge, außerdem wusste man ziemlich genau was passieren wird, weil die Storyline komplett von Shakespeare übernommen wurde. Nur halt in die jetzige Zeit und der Schauplatz ist Connecticut. Mit über 500 Seiten war es viel zu lange und trotzdem konnte ich zu keinem der Protagonisten eine Verbindung aufbauen. Die letzten 100 Seiten habe ich nur mehr quer gelesen. Das war definitiv das letzte Buch der Autorin, das ich gelesen habe.
