Ging spannend weiter, ist aber für mein Empfinden zu lang geraten und die einzelnen POVs waren super zerstückelt. 7 Bände (wenn ich damit richtig liege) sind zu viel für diese Geschichte, glaube ich. Die ersten Bände haben sich noch so unterhaltsam, frisch und einzigartig angefühlt. Dieser Spirit geht etwas verloren und manche Figuren leiden auch unter ihrer aktuellen Entwicklung. Nicht so gut gefallen haben mir zum Beispiel die Entwicklungen von Ezryn (schon seit dem vorherigen Band), Farron, Queen Aurelia und Rosalina. Weiterhin ist es manchmal irritierend, wie wenig subtil die Autorinnen Elemente des Foreshadowing nutzen. Ich hoffe, der nächste Band ist vielleicht etwas weniger in die Länge gezogen und kann mich insgesamt wieder mehr begeistern.
This month I was a bit in a reading slump - but I was really looking forward to book number 4! The plot was a bit crazy and we got so so so many different povs and settings. At times it was too long or too short. There was just something missing for me I can’t quite explain. I love Rosie’s journey and the woman she is now. I love those princes and I feel for them greatly. My heart broke a lot of times and I found it hard to continue because that book made me feeeeeeel. Uff. It’s a bittersweet ending for this book and I cannot wait for the last one! There is so much at stake and I just want a happy end for all of those princes. So all in all - great characters and great character development, you will be left with an aching heart throughout the book and experience great smut and spice. So yes. Read this series.
