Spice Level 1,5 von 5 🌶️ - Paranormal Romance - Fated Mates - Childhood Friends to Lovers - Why choose - Shifter - Found Family - Cliffhanger Ende Dies war mein erstes Buch in diese Genrerichtung und ich fands echt cool. Die Charakterentwicklung der einzelnen Hauptfiguren kommen teilweise etwas zu kurz, da das Buch nunmal sechs Hauptcharaktere beinhaltet. Diese Reihe wird drei Bücher haben, also ist dafür ja noch Zeit. Ich hatte mit deutlich mehr Spice gerechnet, aber die Anziehung zwischen den fünf und Kiarra ist wirklich prickelnd und macht Lust auf mehr. Obwohl die Truppe immer sehr taff scheint, schwärmen sie von Kiarra und manchmal saß ich beim lesen da und dachte einfach nur „aww wie cute“. Aber lass dich nicht trügen, die fünf teilen gerne das was sie mögen miteinander. Ist es ein literarisches Meisterwerk, aus meiner Sicht nein. Ist es ein netter „Cleanser“ mit einer interessanten Story und einer wahnsinnig starken Hauptfigur, JA auf jeden Fall! Kurzer Einblick in die Story: Das ganze Buch spielt in dem „normalen“ New York“, aber dort gibt es „Shifter“, Hexen und andere Dinge von magischer Natur. In dem Buch geht es um eine weibliche Hauptfigur und fünf männliche Hauptfiguren und ja es ist ein „Why Choose“ Buch. Kiarra trifft nach langer Zeit auf ihre fünf besten Freunde, aus ihrer Kindheit, welche gemeinsam einen Plan gegen Kiarras grauenvollen Vater umsetzen wollen - Childhood Friends to Strangers to Lovers trope ist also ein wichtiger Plotpunkt in Blood and Ruin. Dieses Buch beinhaltet viel Gewalt, Folter, grobe Sprache, vergangene Traumata und fünf sehr heiße paranormale Love Interests. Also bitte vorher die Triggerwarnungen lesen.
