I had some problems getting into the story because there is just a lot of action a very little dialogue which makes it a really fast read but also left me kind of not caring for the story. What was interesting was the connection to Natasha's past and the red room, but the whole thing also did not really feel like anything new to and the confrontation with some old acquaintances fell flat for me. I liked the way all the action scenes were drawn, it made them feel very dynamic and exciting. I also loved the colors that were used overall the book certainly looks great. The story was a bit slower in the last few issues and I actually kind of liked that because I felt like there was also just more emotion. Overall this was ok and because I really like the character of Black Widow I will also read the next volume but I prefer the last run by Nathan Edmondson and Phil Noto compared to this one.
