Two things that will convince you to read this one: 1. Library sex 2. These are the first two sentences of the first chapter: "I don’t always fuck a man before I kill him, but when I do, I find there’s one thing they all have in common. They’re disappointing." Check the trigger warnings, then read it.

I’m deeply conflicted right now. Whilst the spice scenes where *chefs kiss* ….I feel like the story had so much more potential than that and if it a tad more story focus, it would have made for such an interesting and awesome book. And even though the spice was damn. It overshadowed the true potential of the plot. I enjoyed Bria. She’s a female serial killer. What more could I ask for? And Eli was, even thought he didn’t gain a spot on my hot fictional boyfriends lists, enjoyable and hot. And their dynamic and interactions where super entertaining and hot. Spicy and lots of `hate‘. Banter and teasing. Everything I want basically. But still I believe the book to have delivered under it’s true potential. There was so much more beneath the surface that only got scratched. I know it’s supposed to be more of a spicy book but I just believe that a plot focus would have been truly amazing. And the end was a bit…easy way out. The most shocking potential ending but also the most boring one. five stars for the immaculate spice. But only three in general simply because i think many aspect were shallow and the entire plot idea kinda underperformed and had so much more potential than what role it played in this story. 3
