After many years and even more stories it's been quite difficult to give characters like Batman a fresh re-boot. Enter Grant Morrison - the writer who made the Justice League and the X-Men cool in the last years. And teaming again with the incredible artist Frank Quitely the result can just be satisfying.. if not amazing. Also the second half with pencils by Philip Tan adds a creepy and dark touch to Gotham City. That being said.. I like the new direction of the world of Batman and Robin. Here you get two entertaining (but partly violent) storylines that feel fresh (though tied to a complex continuity).
