Description

Benders vs. non-Benders
In diesem Band (eigentlich drei Einzelcomics) sieht sich Team Avatar mit einem weiteren Problem konfrontiert, das auch in der späteren Korra-Reihe sehr relevant wird. Menschen mit Bändigungsfähigkeiten wenden sich gegen Menschen ohne. Sie sehen sie als weniger wert an, während diese sie durch Maschinen ersetzen. Ich fand die Geschichte sehr gut, um zu sehen, wie sich innerpolitische Konflikte nach dem Krieg äußern. Das Thema ist äußerst spannend und wie immer kann man wichtige Bezüge zu realem Populisms feststellen. Lediglich sehr Zeichenstil war etwas anders und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dennoch natürlich für alles, was mit Avatar zutun hat, eine große Empfehlung, da die Geschichte echt richtig gut weitererzählt wird.
