(ARC Review) *Note: If you have read „No Saint“ then you already know what happened, which demons are plaguing Atlas. It‘s not necessary to read „No Saint“ beforehand but you could be spoilered if you read „All the Broken Pieces“ first.* „All the Broken Pieces“ portraits the Story of Atlas and Emery. The two had a One-Night-Stand and never saw each other again, until Atlas pays a visit to his mother and both discover that they are stepsiblings. Their relationship isn‘t an easy one. Atlas has got demons which follow him day and night and Emery has her own battles to fight. She tries to break down his walls and let him see, that he has the right to be happy. But that‘s easier said than done especially when there‘s so much on the line for her. I really enjoyed their story. It was quieter than „No Saint“ but much more emotional. Atlas broke my heart quite a few times on his behalf and I felt deeply for Emery and her situation. You learn more about Atlas‘ and Asher’s backstory and where they were coming from. The only weak points throughout the book for me are the sex scenes, which were a little bit to much degrading in my opinion, but I‘m a BIG softie so I think it will be perfectly fine for others. Altough I liked „No Saint“ better, Atlas & Emery stole my heart with their story. It was deeper, calmer and more emotional for me. While in „No Saint“ is always some shit going down, the focus in this story lays more on Atlas‘ feelings and his broken pieces which Emery tries to fix. Ria did an amazing job portraying the broken man Atlas has become. I really enjoyed reading it. It is quite a short book compared to „No Saint“ but I think it was the perfect length. It is exactly what you and the story need! I really loved that book and recommend it to all who want to get to know Atlas better, discover more of his backstory, see him fall in love and watch him fix his shattered soul. I‘m already looking forward to Enzos story. So bring it on Ria Wilde!
