as a computer science major in university, i really loved this one. before reading, i hoped this book would not only touch the surface of the topics, but rather explains them in a more hands-on way. and i got lucky, to me personally it was the perfect mix of learning something new, knowing about the historical side of computer science as well as great examples that empathised how profound and important those algorithms actually are. i wish my uni professors would be at least half as good at explaining basic concepts of computer science.

Die Autoren zeigen wundervoll geschrieben, wie viele Parallelen es zwischen alltägliche Probleme und Problem gibt, die bahnbrechenden Algorithmen versuchen zu lösen.
