Die Werbung war schon sehr catchy und im Nachhinein die Szene ganz anders geschrieben als beworben und bei Instagram habe ich immer die Sorge das man zu schnell gehyped ist und sich nicht lohnt - aber das war eine ganz schöne slow Feeling fast Spice irgendwas zwischen feelgood und new adult mit ein bisschen Humor. Wunderbar für ein Wochenende mit netten buchsetting.
The world-building in A Rivalry of Hearts is fantastic, especially if you’ve read Tessonja Odette’s other books. The characters are well thought out and their relationship development is engaging and easy to root for. The first third of the book felt a bit slow at times, but it was worth sticking with it. The spicy scenes are also well-written and fit naturally into the story. A solid fantasy romance that’s definitely worth a read!
