Rezension: Es war wirklich schwer dieses Buch zu bewerten, denn auf der einen Seite habe ich mich kaum davon trennen können und A Million Suns in nur zwei Tagen durchgelesen, auf der anderen Seite haben mich die Figuren einfach genervt. Der größte Pluspunkt dieses Buches ist die konstante Spannung, die das Buch so schnelllebig macht. Man fühlt sich als Leser in die Geschehnisse mit einbezogen, möchte Elder helfen, die Aufstände zu bekämpfen und ist ständig auf der Suche nach neuen Hinweisen von Orion. Aber die Story hat mir nicht mehr so sehr gefallen, wie im vorherigen Band noch. Es ist nur natürlich, dass die Menschen nach dem Absetzen von Phydus depressiv und aufsässig werden, aber Elder ist mit der Situation schlichtweg überfordert und mir kam immer wieder der Gedanke, dass ich gewisse Dinge anders gelöst hätte. Was das Ende betrifft, sind meine Gefühle gemischter Natur, so freue ich mich, dass der Leser nun endlich Centauri-Earth zu sehen bekommt, kann jedoch Docs Handlungen nicht nachvollziehen. Fazit: Der zweite Band der Sci-Fi-Reihe.
