While I love the series, I still think the first book was the strongest one. I liked how all the characters finally snapped out of it and became more mature (and less annoying), but I still question some (unnecessary) decisions some of the characters made.
Story is great, but too long.
Look, I loved the story. The plot. Some characters. But it felt too much. Too many POVs that yeah, made the story longer but not richer. So I started skipping them. Like sure Emira was the mom, but some chapters for her? Why not just tell a bit of her side from Kell's or Rhy's POV? I did not need the details from her side really. Or Ned's. Or the girl who was looking over Ojka. And many more.
Ein sehr gelungenes Ende mit ganz viel Spannung, Hoffnung und Trauer. Alles dabei
So much better than the second book. Way more gripping and action-filled, just how I like my fantasy books. And a tear or two in the end. A nice ending, probably the best book out of the trilogy.
Some questions remain but it was a very enjoyable read.
