Guter Auftakt….
…..hier wird direkt mit der Fantasywelt durchgestartet und es gibt ganz viele Geheimnisse. Der Romanceanteil ist reine Tension. Ich mochte Band 1 sehr gerne aber mir sind zu viele Fragen offen geblieben. Es hätte gerne noch 200 Seite mehr haben können. 😂 Die Charaktere haben sich super entwickelt. Die vorgespielte Naivität von Sam, hat der Story viel Schwung gegeben . Ich bin sehr gespannt was wir weiteres in Band 2 über sie erfahren. Auf Band 2 muss jetzt 1 Jahr gewartet werden ?! Hätte ich vorher mal besser nachgeschaut….. man kann wohl Extrakapitel aus seiner POV noch bekommen. Das wiederum klingt gar nicht so schlecht ☺️

I really liked the book and I cant wait for the next one. Personally I think that its a very solid vampire story - you cant go wrong with it. Also the FMC is pretty sympathic, i like how see-through she is. The Ending was a banger - a little bit predictable but still a dramatic cliffhanger.
Slow Burn Vampire Romantasy
Endlich mal wieder ein Buch das auch wirklich Slow Burn ist, wer Spice sucht ist hier erstmal fehl am Platz. Mir hat die Story und die Dynamik zwischen Sam und Raphael wirklich soo gut gefallen. Stellenweise kam die Story etwas schleppend voran und Sams "Naivität" hat an Stellen etwas gestört. Allerdings ist es wiederum gut erklärt und passt auch in die Story. Mir hat auch sehr das ungewöhnliche Magie System und die Welt gefallen. Raphael mochte ich von Anfang wirklich gerne er ist einfach genau das was man sich von einem dunklen Fantasy Setting erhofft (Touch her and you die). Besonders gegen Ende hat es mich nochmal richtig gepackt und ich freue mich schon darauf wie die Geschichte weiter geht.
ohh what a book! at first i wasn't so sure what to think of it since it starts rather slow, but good god it turns out to be quiet addictive! ilove this world, the unusual way magic works and the different characters. absolute fantastic start for this enemies to lovers novel, can't wait for the next book - especially after this cliffhanger!
I had really high hopes for this! Loved part 1, with the prison setting, and also the roadtrip vibes. Part 2 turned all that around 180°. The main plot basically being “vampires are evil because they drink blood” was just boring imo. Been there, done that. Also, hypocritical af because, “do you think it’s fair that vampires are more powerful than humans, and are therefore at the top of the food chain?” WELL SAM, do you think it’s fair that you’re stronger than the rats you’re laying traps out for?? Be vegan or shut up omg. Don’t think I will continue the series. Pls someone give me good vampire romance recs :(
