My baby, Ryan, deserves all the love in this world – and of course my boy, Conner, as well 🥹
I’m really sad that the “North Shore Titans”-Series is now officially over—even though for me it’s not, because I still have to read “Forbidden Titan”. I didn’t skip Merci and Zach’s book on purpose, but I was so curious about Ryan and Conner’s story that I decided to read “Ruthless Titan” first 🥴 I absolutely loved this book, but the emotional damage it caused is not okay… I want to give both Ryan and Conner the biggest hug, because these two went through so much just to be together. I think we all thought Conner was the biggest asshole ever in the beginning, but the man was just as broken as Ryan—although Ryan’s story truly broke my heart in two. I love the big guy with his teddy (and his sexy panties 🤭) so, so much, and I genuinely think Conner is perfect for him. The way they were both incredibly possessive and protective of each other—and the spice?! 🥵 So, so hot! For some reason, Ryan’s trauma made the spicy scenes feel even more intimate and emotional, and honestly… I wouldn’t have minded a few more 🫢 As I said, I really liked their story, and the way their relationship developed—especially with the shift in their dynamic—was so, so nice. I also really enjoyed the amount of drama, but the ending was honestly a bit too much for me. I don’t know if it’s just me, but the drama at the end felt kind of unexpected and unrealistic—I didn’t think things would go downhill that fast 😵💫 The last few chapters didn’t really grip me, though I can’t quite put my finger on why. I think I just wanted to read more about Ryan and Conner and see how their relationship would continue to evolve, so maybe I was simply sad realizing that it was all coming to an end. Nevertheless, this book is still very good, and I would definitely recommend reading the entire North Shore Titans series. Not only are some of the books quite short, but each one has its own charm, and the found-family aspect is truly special 😉 So please check out this amazing ice hockey series!
