Kindle unlimited Das war genau, was ich gerade brauchte. Ein Wohlfühlbuch ohne viel Drama aber mit tollen Protagonisten. Solomon ist eine wandelnde Green Flag, wie er von Beginn an über Tessie nachgedacht hat, war wirklich zuckersüß. Außerdem hab ich geliebt, dass die Probleme immer relativ schnell abgehandelt wurden. Eine Situation oder Misskommunikation ist aufgetreten und ich hab gedacht, ohje jetzt kommt der große Knall aber nö, Solomon hat Tessie sofort in seine Gedanken mitgenommen und kommuniziert, was genau vorgefallen ist, so dass Tessie gar keine Zeit hatte sich reinzusteigern 🙂↕️ Zu einer anderen Zeit hätte ich das vielleicht langweilig gefunden, aber die Handlung bleibt trotzdem so spannend, dass ich weitergelesen habe. Auch hat mir das Buch zumindest die erste Hälfte richtige Sommer-Vibes gegeben und Lust auf Urlaub gemacht, auch wenn es dann am Ende noch etwas schneit 🤭 Ich werd das Buch auf jeden Fall nochmal lesen wenn ich schwanger bin (aber TW: rund um die Geburt herum gibt es ernste Komplikationen).
Ok, das Buch war wirklich süß, loveable und relaxing. Perfekt für zwischendurch. Ein perfekter Mix aus meinem Lieblings Tropes, Pregnancy, he falls first and harder, und einem super süßen Couple, welches noch zu sich finden muss.<spoiler>Vor allem am Ende, wenn es heißt Damsel in Distress und er sitzt an Ihrem Krankenbett nach der Geburt seiner Tochter, das ist wirklich eine Szene die ich immer wieder lesen kann.</spoiler>
This was a fluffy feel good read with a lot of heart. Where can I find someone who cares for me as much as Solomon Wilder cares for Tessie Truelove and Tessie cares for Solomon? This is a RomCom book I can see myself reading again when I need something light and sweet and not too cheesy but makes me feel happy and cheesy while reading it. Solomon and Tessie could not be more different on the outside and for the most part of their insides but they have three things in common: they care deeply about the people in their lives, they want to protect themselves and those they care for and they love with their whole heart. These traits make them great protagonists for a wild ride story about a one night stand that turned into a figuring out how to raise a child together vacation.
⤷‧₊˚2.75⭑ „one night, no names, two heartbeats, and all the stars in the universe.“ i wanted to love it so bad it had a lot of potential and it got WASTED. there wasn't any tension between the mc’s and their whole relationship felt weird. also why the hell would you give up everything to move in with your baby daddy you don't know much about?
