When I started reading this book, I was aware of the sequel but didn't necessarily have in mind that I was in for a love triangle story. Contemporary romance is currently a genre I love to pick up, so I was nevertheless excited to read it. But I had a hard time with this triangle trope since it's not completely my cup of tea. As in the past, the author has done a great job. This book was well written, and the characters really sympathetic. And I love/hate me a good cliffhanger. The plot just couldn't catch me 100% for the aforementioned reason. However, I am really excited to pick up the sequel in a bit. There's a lot of potential with this story, and I'm here for it.
