I saw teasers of this book so many times, that I got so hooked and purchased it immediately when I could. It‘s Laura J. Roberts debut and it was honestly romantasy chef‘s kiss. 🤌🏻 The main characters Davina and Cole are unmatched. Their banter and tension was palpable and I was giggling almost all the time while reading it. 🤭 It‘s a lot of romance, with a nice touch of fantasy and at one point I just couldn‘t stop reading. ✨ Following Davina how she unlashes her powers is very exciting and the slow burn of Cole and her is just adorable. I was absolutely not prepared for the ending.. I was staring at the pages for minutes and somehow tried to process it. I was so shocked but absolutely loved it! I‘m really so glad there‘s going to be a second book. Can‘t wait to read that too. 💘 If you love romantasy, do yourself a favor and read this book!!
