With his sights set on a professional hockey career, Colton keeps his issues, and the truth about his family drama, under wraps. But when he and Ava collide, a fierce attraction blossoms between them despite their mutual hatred.
Their first meeting ends with a threat and makes Ava want to avoid Colton at any cost. Unfortunately, destiny continues to step in, and their paths keep crossing, leading to more tension and unexpected feelings.

Enemies with benefits, boy obsessed, ice hockey romamce and he Falls first trope? It could not have been any better. Ava is a very strong and confident character. I love how she doesn't shy away from sharing her opinions with others and carrying them out. Also, big plus points because Ava loves to read and understands what romance books can do to you. She appreciates the little things in life. Colton is an ice hockey player and is known for not making a commitment. His reputation as a playboy is simply based on the fact that Colton knows what he wants and what he doesn't want. One of his most desired passions is playing ice hockey and for him it was always unthinkable to love someone more than his love for playing ice hockey... well until he met Ava. The tension between the two characters is so good. Just the fact that Colton would do everything, EVERYTHING for Ava and would never leave her behind made me love him even more. Quickly the playboy became boyfriend material and let me tell you, I have no complaints.
