I'm clearly in the minority here, but I didn't really enjoy this. I just couldn't connect to Jess at all, she was just rather boring. I like Anna but I felt like her whole character kinda changed in the latter half. The romance was just meh. I didn't feel like they had much chemistry. Everything just moved way too quickly at the end. I was interested in Anna and her story but that's basically the only reason I really kept reading. I enjoyed it enough to give it 3 stars but I definitely won't ever reread it. And this book felt way too long, probably because I wasn't very interested especially in the latter half. I honestly feel like Clare Ashtons writing isn't really for me. I've read one other book by her and I gave it 4 stars (which I think is a little high now) but I can't remember anything that happened. Her writing isn't bad at all, I just kinda struggle with it and I can never really connect to her characters and stories. I constantly have to reread pages because I just can't fully take in what happened.
