"Band 4 von Kaiju no. 8 ist ein wahres Actionfeuerwerk, das sogar meine hohen Erwartungen nach dem letzten Band übertrifft. Der turbulente Kampf gegen einen Mega-Kaiju lässt die Seiten förmlich erzittern. Dabei überrascht Protagonist Kafka mit einer Notlösung, mit der ich so früh im Manga nicht gerechnet hätte. Mensch oder Kaiju? Wie der Verteidigungscorp entscheidet, werde ich wohl erst im Band 5 erfahren!

4.0Um seine Kameraden zu retten, hat Kafka sich zum Monster transformiert. Nun sitzt er gefangen imm Hauptquartier und Chief Shinomiya selbst will ihn wohl töten. Dass Kikuro Partei für Kafka ergriffen und er Menschen gegen Monster verteidigt hat, scheint ihren Vater kalt zu lassen. Mina hat Kafka versichert, dass niemand aus der dritten Einheit ihn als Feind betrachtet und sie darauf wartet, dass er an ihrer Seite kämpfen kann. Auch Ichikawa wartet auf ihn. Uh oh. Hoffentlich geht das gut aus. Armer Kafka. Außerdem erfahren wir ein wenig aus Hoshinos Vergangenheit. Jetzt ist klar, warum er manchmal so verbissen rüber kommt. Ich bin wirklich gespannt, was es mit Kafka und den anderen humanoiden Monstern auf sich hat.
