About the book

Bro big or bro home.RobbieAs social chair of Sigma Beta Psi, I'm the life of the party. It's what I'm known for, and if it's not fun, I'm not interested, simple as that.I'm not someone who overthinks. So when one of my brothers hooks up with a dude from another frat house, it catches me off guard when I can't stop thinking about them ... together. There's only one way for me to get this obsession out of my head, and that's by jumping in with both feet and putting it into practice. The problem is, the one guy who's up for the ride is the last one I'd expect.BrandonBeing risk manager of a frat house is nobody's idea of a good time. My brothers get annoyed when I put a damper on their plans, and wrangling drunken frat brothers isn't how I pictured my Saturday nights of senior year.I'm bored. In a rut.Study, frat duties, planning for the future. When is it my turn to let loose for a moment? So when my dumb-as-bricks frat bro is scoping out the house for a little experimenting fun, I throw out the offer like it isn't the most nerve-racking thing I've ever considered.I never imagined I'd actually enjoy it.

Chad, VP of the jock frat house, meets Bailey, newbie of the rival rich frat house, at his house's party. The very driven hookup scenario is untimely interrupted with Bailey finding out he is about to get on with his house's biggest enemy. Both try to stay away from each other but can they? Hmm, this did not work for me as much as the high rating predicted. I did not like either MC, and there is a chance that the insta-love was the driving force behind my meh feeling. I did love Bailey's family though, they were wonderful!!

Green flag relationship with minimal drama

The rating would be higher objectively, but I've just not been in the mood for this type of book, so it also took me way longer than usual to read it. It really is a good book though! It's about Chad and Bailey, who are from different fraternities. The Sigmas and the Kappas have a long-lasting rivalry, and each year, they have this contest called 'King of Thieves' where they steal stuff from each other's dorms that have been assigned points and who got the most points wins. Also, they are playing ('harmless') pranks on each other. Bailey is new to Kappa house and has a harder time making friends, so it wouldn't be a good idea to date someone from Sigma house, but he can't deny the instant attraction he feels with Chad and neither can he. I think it stands out from other frat romances I've read so far by having such a nice relationship without any drama between them (no third act breakup, yess). All the drama (which wasn't much) was surrounding the rivalry. I thought the whole thing was silly, and I hate pranks, but it was handled well, so it wasn't really anything to complain about. There could have been more happening in the story, but it was also refreshing just focusing on their relationship without feeling like there was some big trouble looming on the horizon. Just mostly nice vibes everywhere. So yeah, might rate it higher if I ever reread it, but I also want to read the other volumes sometime.
