The Testing 3: Graduation Day

Das Buch lässt mich relativ enttäuscht zurück. Zugegeben. Die ersten beiden Bücher waren mir nicht mehr ganz so präsent als ich mit dem dritten Teil angefangen habe. Ich habe mindestens die Hälfte des Buches gebraucht, um in die Geschichte zu finden. Nicht etwa, weil ich alles vergessen hatte, es sprang einfach kein Funke über. Nach den beiden ersten Büchern, die ich total super fand, leider sehr enttäuschend. Natürlich kommt es zu einer Rebellion. Natürlich gibt es dann irgendwann die Kapitel, die man gebannt durchliest, um dann am Ende sehr nüchtern dazusitzen und sich zu fragen, was man da gerade eigentlich gelesen hat. Das Ende ist relativ sehr abgehackt und die Auflösung der ganzen Rätsel auch so komisch zusammengeschustert, dass es unglaubwürdig wirkt. Der Titel verrät einem eigentlich schon das Ende. Nach den ersten beiden Teilen bin ich sehr enttäuscht von dem letzten. Deswegen nur zwei Sterne.

A really good end to the Testing trilogy. I liked the whole 'how far will you go' aspect and Cia's still one of my favorite characters.

The final part of "The Testing" series is leaving me with mixed feelings. Again I enjoyed the book itself and the world in it. It started kind of slow again but the tension was rising with each page. The end was absolutely exciting and got me guessing and guessing who was trustworthy in the end. And this is where my criticism starts, I didn't have the feeling there was a real good and a real bad one. On top of that I still had too many unanswered questions. Still I am glad that the book didn't end all cheesy. All in all I did enjoy this trilogy a lot. It had a great world-building and a kick-ass heroine.
