"Wie ein fantastischer Fiebertraum"
Einfach wow. Alle drei Bände sind wirklich fantastisch und voller Emotionen. Ich habe an meinem Verstand gezweifelt. Keiner der Bände war jemals langweilig, stetig wurde es spannender mit einer Prise Jahrmarkt und Wahnsinn. Für Fantasyfans ein Muss. Die englische Version ist leicht verständlich und angenehm zu lesen.
With some series I grow oversaturated when reading the whole series without other books as a "pause" inbetween. But Caraval was one of the series that didn't need me to take a break and I didn't want to take one. Initially I only bought this edition, because I bought the first two "Once upon a broken heart" books, not knowing it would be better to read Caraval beforehand. So I listened to bookstagram and will be looking forward to reading the spin off soon. I get the hype, I had a lot of fun thinking about how some things would turn out, who "Legend" will be (or will they be several people?)- I was involved. I really loved the characters. Nevertheless I was not fully captured by the Caraval magic, while others dream about participating, it sounds really odd to me, as in I would be way too confused by the rules and just end up spending the time at a food booth.
