4,5 Sterne Am Anfang konnte ich mich wenig in die Charaktere hineinversetzen, was sich zum Ende komplett geändert hat. Ich habe sie lieben gelernt. Das Ende hat mich zwar völlig unvorbereitet getroffen, hat mich aber von der Art sehr an Safe Haven erinnert. Trotzdem ein tolles Buch, was unglaublich gut mit so einem schweren Thema umgeht.

Also dachte ich mir bestellst du es dir mal auf Rebuy. Vor kanpp 4 tagen begann ich es endlich zu lesen, ich war von Seite 1 ab total gefesselt, f√ºr mich war es eine Achterbahn der gef√ºhle. Ich kann mir nur zu gut vorstellen wie es ist einen geliebten menschen zu verlieren. Dann aber direkt zwei wie Tristan, absoult unvorstellbar welchen schmerz man da durch leben m√ºsste. Die Autorin ist wirklich eine beganadete Schriftstellerin, der Schreibstil war so gut, es lies sich richtig flie√üend zu lesen, ebenfalls hat mich das buch auch dadurch sehr gefesselt. Durch die emotionale Achterbahn fahrt, habe ich mit den Protagonisten weinen, lachen und mich mit ihnen freuen k√∂nnen. Zum schluss des Buches ging gab es dann nochmal richtig Action und ich habe mit Liz und tristan mit fiebern k√∂nnen. Zum ende des Buches kl√§rte sich dann auch so einiges aufkl√§ren k√∂nnen. Belohnt wird man dann aber mit einem Super s√º√üen Happy End 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Denn, zum Schlu√ü hin fragt Tristan ob Liz und Emma ihn heiraten wollen und hat f√ºr beide einen holzring mit stein hergestellt 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Wie s√º√ü ist das den bitte?!?!?!?!
Inhalt Elizabeth (Lizzie) und ihre Tochter Emma haben viel durchgemacht. Als sie schwerem Herzen in ihr kleines Häuschen in ihrem Heimatort zurückkehren, zieht ihr neuer Nachbar Tristan ihre ganze Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Er ist alles andere als beliebt in dem Viertel und wird von allen verpönt. Doch irgendwas zieht die beiden an. Egal wie oft sie voreinander und deren Gefühlen fliehen, sie kommen nicht voneinander los. Meinung Dieses Buch ist das zweite von mir gelesene Buch von Brittainy C. Cherry und auch hier konnte mich ihr Schreistil zu 100% überzeugen! Ihr Schreibstil hat eine Leichtigkeit und regt dennoch sehr viel zum Nachdenken an. Es ist so emotional und intensiv – ich glaube das können alle Leser ihrer Bücher bestätigen! Ich bin einfach ein ganz großer Fan von ihr. Schon die ersten Seiten haben mich gefesselt und ich wollte unbedingt weiter lesen. Ich mochte die Protagonisten sehr, ganz besonders Tristan, Lizzie und Emma (also die Hauptprotagonisten). Die etwas unwichtigeren Protagonisten wie z.B. Faye mochte ich allerdings nicht so gerne, aber da sie nicht die Hauptrolle hatte, hat es mich nicht besonders gestört. Ich fand es unglaublich toll, wie man das Knistern zwischen Tristan und Lizzie spüren konnte, welches mit jede Seite wuchs. Das kann Brittainy C. Cherry auch einfach echt gut! Sie kann Emotionen und Gefühle einfach so gut rüberbringen und ihre Romane haben nie zu wenig davon! Deshalb hab ich auch hier einige Tränen vergossen. Ungefähr bis Seite 300 war es für mich ein unglaubliches 5 Sterne Buch, doch dann kam leider der Plot Twist, der mir leider überhaupt nicht gefallen hat! Es war sehr unrealistisch und ziemlich weit hergeholt, so als hätte die Autorin keine Ahnung mehr gehabt, was sie sonst noch schreiben könnte. Daher muss ich auch einen halben Stern abziehen. Einen halben nur deshalb, weil das Ende dann doch wieder sehr überzeugend und toll war! Tristan und Elisabeth waren toll zusammen und der Epilog war einfach perfekt. Fazit Auch dieses Buch von Brittainy C. Cherry war so emotional, tiefsinnig und wunderschön – Sie hat es einfach drauf! Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es vielen Menschen hilft, die einen Verlust durchmachen oder durchmachen mussten. Solche Bücher sind einfach wichtig!
Dieses Buch zerstört mich und setzt mich wieder auf eine Art zusammen , die unglaublich ist. Kaum eine andere Autorin kann mich auf so einem tiefen Level berühren wie Brittainy C. Cherry. Die Hauptcharaktere haben tiefe Wunden aus der Vergangenheit zu tragen und schaffen es sich gegenseitig zu heilen. Just wow 💗
Oh mein Gott! Ich liebe dieses Buch! So viele Emotionen vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Die Autorin schafft es wirklich, dass man jeden Schmerz und jede Freude mitfühlen kann. Eine Achterbahn von Kapitel zu Kapitel. Sprachlich so wunderbar geschrieben 😍 ich bin hin und weg! Die Spannung am Ende hat einen noch mal vollkommen mitgerissen, sodass man das Buch einfach nicht aus der Hand legen kann. Eine wunderschöne Geschichte rund um Liz & Tristan 💕 Einer meiner Lieblingsbücher von 2018!
3 maybe 3,5 stars I don't know what expectations I had when I started reading this. Maybe they were too high, maybe it's just me. It was a bit slow in the middle part and skipped almost all explicit scenes, because I don't think them being essential for the story. Towards the end the story rushed forward and it might have been a little too much drama in too little time.

This was not my first stint with Brittany C. Cherry and so I had high expectations for this book and she did not disappoint. A note of warning if you plan to read this book ensure you have a box of tissues nearby as The Air He Breathes will tear your heart to pieces and slowly put it back together again. This was not your typical romance. It’s a story of loss, grief, acceptance, moving on and finding love once again under the most incredible circumstances and with the most unlikely person. My heart broke for the characters. Losing someone is never easy and the circumstances under which they both lost the love of their lives were both tragic and heart-breaking. Tristan’s loss was greater as he lost both his wife and child. Not to downplay Elizabeth’s loss, as she lost her husband, but she had her daughter, Emma, who brought some light to her darkness. Tristan’s pain ran so deep it would appear he could not manage, however Elizabeth’s and Emma’s appearance in his life brought peace to his broken heart and kick-started the healing process for them both. Now Tristan and Elizabeth did not meet under ideal circumstances. However, at the end of that interaction, I laughed so hard that tears came to my eyes. Despite, his abrasive behaviour, Elizabeth stood her ground with him. The author did an outstanding job with her portrayal of these broken characters. She made their pain feel so real that I could not help but sympathize with them. She showed that there was more to Tristan than one initially thought. Throughout, the story’s progress, his gentle and caring nature came to light. I enjoyed the romance. Their relationship started out as means of getting over their loss and slowly developed into something meaningful and lasting. The secondary characters brought some light moments to the story, although there were one or two I would have wanted to disappear as they only made things difficult for the main characters. I had a theory as it relates to the accident that destroyed both their worlds, and I was right on all counts. The revelation proved devastating and had the potential to destroy their new found happiness or push them to the next step of their healing process. Narration I had purchased the e-book, but when I discovered it was available in Audible Escape, I went the audio route. This was my first time listening to Brian Pallino and Erin Mallon. I thought they both did an excellent job in portraying the voices and the mood of the characters. Conclusion/Recommendation I had a wonderful time with The Air He Breathes and would definitely recommend it to fans of contemporary romance. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich doch etwas Angst davor hatte, diese Reihe zu beginnen, da ich niemanden kenne, der sie nicht geliebt hat, und ich wollte sie auch so unbedingt mögen. Was soll ich sagen, ich bin so doof, dass ich so lange damit gewartet habe, denn diese Geschichte war so unfassbar berührend und schön, die Charaktere habe ich direkt ins Herz geschlossen, und der Schreibstil war wirklich ganz besonders. Außerdem hat mich die Handlung total überrascht. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne 😍
I loved loved this book, WOW! I love when I read a book I get all the emotions. The smut OMG I had to have a day/two to get my brain right because damn Brittany Cherry wrote the smut so so good. And I didn't expect Tanner to be behind everything like really. I just love Lizzie and Tristan so much, there story together is so beautifully is there own way and you won't be able to understand until you read it And I love Tristan and Emmas bond omg just love them and the nicknames they have. Ok I just love this book.
