Bought this back when I believed in actualizing myself through optimizing myself for performance and finding fulfillment through my work. This was also from a cultural moment that witchy stuff was hot as a female empowerment thing, all tying into addressing the modern worlds ills through personal action when really the problem is society not us as individuals. Anyways reading it through that lens initially made it a little more special and inspiring. Reading it now it’s very flat, very basic either as a way to capitalize on those cultural key stones, or to make it all more accessible in modern life and make you feel like things you’re already doing are witchy. Either way it’s not a book I’ll hold on to now and I don’t appreciate what it’s selling in this moment of my life.

This is a terrific book to help you take better care of yourself. It was given to me in a time of hardship and I have learned a lot from it.
