Eine schöne, kurze Geschichte, die gerade für Menschen die mit dem Englisch lesen anfangen möchten, finde ich, gut geeignet ist. Es passiert nicht so sonderlich viel, aber was passiert, ist immer sehr gefühlvoll. Wer also nach Action, Drama, Spice oder Plots sucht, ist hier falsch. Der Schreibstil gefällt mir auch hier wieder sehr gut. Ich hab ja bereits If he had been with me und If only i had told her sehr gemocht, deswegen wusste ich, dass ich mit dem Schreibstil gut klar kommen werde. 🩷 Nach meiner zwei wöchigen Lesepause war das jetzt wieder der perfekte Einstieg. ✨
Musik kann nicht so verbinden.
Mein erstes Buch auf Englisch. Es spielt zeitlich vom freshman year bis zum Senior Year der Highschool. Ist ganz nett gewesen. Geht um Ramona, Sam und Tom. Sam und Ramona sind schwer ineinander verliebt aber keiner der beiden weis es. Dann treffen sie Tom und sie nehmen ihn mit in die Band auf. Nach kurzer Zeit ist Ramona mit Tom in einer Beziehung, ist aber dennoch in Sam verknallt. Es war bis zum 2/3 gut und dann kam das Ende in sich und war nur noch mies. Man gut das ich auch if he had been with me nie gelesen habe. Laura nowlin hat’s bei diesem Goldstück nicht geschafft.

Ist ganz süß für zwischendurch aber auch leider nichts besonderes. Wenn man so wie ich anfangen möchte mehr auf englisch zu lesen, ist das Buch sehr gut. Der Flow vom Text war sehr gut zu verstehen. 👍🏻 Allerdings passiert halt leider auch nicht viel im Buch. Dennoch fand ich die letzten Seiten sehr süß und mir hat auch der Kapitel-Wechsel zwischen Ramona,Sam und Tom sehr gut gefallen ☺️
i really liked it. in the beginning it was like i was just thrown in the story so i was a bit confused but the story was so cool. the relationship was a bit confusing but still good. the ending was kind of funny. her writing is also so easy to read. i literally read this book in like 4 hours. The title makes sense know after reading the book.5⭐️
Ich habe es an einen Tag gelesen und es hat auch viel Spaß gemacht. Aber weiß nicht so richtig wie ich es bewerten soll, irgendwie ist nicht so wirklich was passiert und es wird denke ich auch nicht viel aus dem Buch bei mir hängen bleiben, es hat mich halt entertained. Ich habe keine Ahnung was ich noch sagen soll weil ich nicht gerechnet habe in welche Richtung das Buch geht und so eine Art von Romance habe ich halt noch nie gelesen und bin auch nicht wirklich interessiert daran. Aber wie gesagt war eigentlich ganz gut.

On the positive side: three teenagers who get to know and love each other. They form a band and play a lot of music. I like it. The chapters are very short, which makes it a quick read. I also think the cover is very nice. On the other hand: The chapters were too short and the writing style was kept “too simple” (I don't know how to describe it. I hope you understand what I meant to say). And the plot doesn't give me much, too. As a result, I was unable to form an emotional connection to the characters and get bored. Since I am someone who reads primarily for the emotional experience, this is a major weakness for me.
"This Song Is (Not) for You" ist mein drittes Buch der Autorin. Ich kann eigentlich nicht viel zu dem Buch sagen. Ich mochte es - es war ein gutes und kurzes Buch für zwischendurch. Die 230 Seiten waren schnell und flüssig zu lesen. Ich mochte besonders, dass es kurze Kapitel hat. Dadurch habe ich nach dem Motto gelesen: "Nur noch ein Kapitel, die sind ja kurz!" Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass das Buch nicht für jeden etwas ist. Es geht um zwei Jugendliche, die leidenschaftlich gern Musik machen und, sagen wir mal, ihr passendes Puzzlestück finden. Sie sind eine Band und haben hier und da ihre „Problemchen" Da es durchgehend um Musik geht, muss man selbst entscheiden, ob das Thema etwas für einen ist oder nicht. Aber es ist auf jeden Fall etwas Schnelles für zwischendurch.

Is like you never knew it, but you've been waiting your whole lite to meet this person, and you recognize him with the same ease that you recognize your rellection. That happened to me once.
