3.5 stars I loved the writing as expected. I mean it's Holly Bourne and she is my absolute favorite ya contemporary writer. I found the book fun to read but it did have some problematic aspects and therefore made me like it a little less than all the other Holly Bourne books that got 4 or 5 stars, which is why this one is getting only 3.5. Still a very enjoyable read!
I read this when I was a teen and swore it was the best thing I'd ever read then I read it again recently as an adult and well... let's just say it did not hold up... maybe it's a sign that I've gotten out of the terrible mental state that I was in back then that I can't relate to the main character anymore on any level
