Hey Swifties! Ich kann es kaum erwarten, euch von einem Buch zu erzählen, das perfekt für uns Taylor Swift-Fans ist: „Look What You Made Me Do“ von Kat McKenna! Als ich den Titel gesehen habe, musste ich sofort an Taylors ikonischen Song denken! Das Buch hat mich wirklich in seinen Bann gezogen und ich konnte die Parallelen zu Taylors eigener Reise und den Themen von Rache, Selbstfindung und Empowerment spüren. Der Untertitel „A love letter to the fandom era“ hält was er verspricht. In dem Buch geht es um die Fankultur im Allgemeinen. Von Themen, was ist ein Fan überhaupt ist, bis hin zu Entwicklungen in der Fankultur war es sehr informativ. Immer wieder wurden natürlich Parallelen zu Taylor Swift und den Swifties gezogen. Die Autorin erzählt aus ihrer eigenen Vergangenheit und wie sie ein Taylor Swift-Fan wurde. Ich habe mich an vielen Stellen wiedergefunden, weshalb mir das Buch auch so gut gefallen hat. Die Emotionen, die in diesem Buch vermittelt werden, sind super! Es ist, als würde man durch die verschiedenen „Eras“ von Taylor reisen, während man die Höhen und Tiefen erlebt. Wenn ihr also ein Fan von Taylor Swift seid und nach einer fesselnden Lektüre sucht, die euch zum Nachdenken anregt und gleichzeitig inspiriert, dann ist „Look What You Made Me Do“ ein absolutes Muss! Außerdem war die Gestaltung des Buches und die Illustrationen super schön.
