What do a brilliant child killer, a hopeful special effects artist, a duo of budding teen spree killers, a student-screwing teacher, and a mutated maniac missing his lower jaw have in common?
They're all out this Halloween...
How will their paths cross? Who will be butchered? Can anyone survive this bloodbath or are they all destined to drown in a pool of warm red? This slasher nightmare gives you a seat right beside the killer but don't get too comfortable, there's a Scary Bastard on the loose... WARNING: This book contains graphic content. What should I say, of course with a splatter and gore title like this you are not expecting a great story or complex characters, you want gore blood and violence, right? Certainly, this book gives you plenty of it. But for me a little bit more story would have been nice, it feels like the author had some killing scenarios in his head and put one after another, without any connection. If just the carnage were thrilling, fun or something new I still would have enjoyed it, but for me especially the kills were all like a big Deja vu. I constantly had the impression that I already read or saw that way of slaughter people somewhere else. Two scene I enjoyed with the Apes and the Tokio imbiss, but the rest were just nothing new or fun for me. That’s why I certainly didn’t enjoyed this book. But looking forward to read some others from him.
