4.5 ⭐️ oh my god, did i love this book with my whole heart. first of all, my favourite character was Grandpa Gus. he was sarcastic, funny and would do anything for his granddaughter Lenny. their relationship made my heart swoon and made me want a grandpa like him

This was awesome. Honestly, Mariana Zapata never disappoints and I don't know why I haven't read al her books yet. This is the story of Lenny, who manages a gym and has interest in MMA fighting. Her grandpa and his friend Peter are basically trainers there. The story is about Jonah, a pro rugby player who ghosted Lenny 17 months ago and comes back to make amends but thing are a little more complicated. I'm going to make a non-spoiler review because all I need to say about this book is it's great and you should read it. But I just want to say I expected Lenny's secret at the beginning but Mariana just made the story so good, I couldn't get enough of it. She just writes perfect romance where there is no need for dramatic plot devices and huge, unnecessary plot twists. It's just romance and character building and relationship creation and I love it. 10/10 would recommend!
