Eine typische amerikanische Lovestory 😊
Man lernt die Protagonisten kennen und weiß sofort, wo die Reise hingeht. Und trotzdem fühlt man sich einfach nur wohl beim Lesen 😊 Die Protagonisten machen natürlich auch eine Entwicklung durch und da sie meistens schon Mitte 30 oder älter sind, sind es auch irgendwie zwischendurch alltägliche Sorgen, die jeder mal mehr mal weniger nachempfinden kann. Ich habe nun die ersten 4 Bücher der Reihe gelesen und werde bald mal mit der Serie starten - hoffentlich ist die auch so "entspannend" 😊

Das vierte Buch der Reihe hat mich nicht überzeugt. Die Story zwischen Jeanette und Tom wirkte seltsam gestellt und teilweise auch fragwürdig... Ich hatte gehofft, dass die Story um Maddie, Dana Sue und Helen vertieft wird, aber leider scheint der Rest der Reihe jeweils immer andere Charaktere aus Serenity in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen. Die Buchreihe hat also nur relativ wenig mit der Netflixserie zu tun.
