About the book

The romantic companion to My Life Next Door—great for fans of Sarah Dessen and Jenny Han.  Tim Mason was The Boy Most Likely To find the liquor cabinet blindfolded, need a liver transplant, and drive his car into a house Alice Garrett was The Girl Most Likely To . . . well, not date her little brother’s baggage-burdened best friend, for starters. For Tim, it wouldn’t be smart to fall for Alice. For Alice, nothing could be scarier than falling for Tim. But Tim has never been known for making the smart choice, and Alice is starting to wonder if the “smart” choice is always the right one. When these two crash into each other, they crash hard. Told in Tim’s and Alice’s distinctive, disarming, entirely compelling voices, this novel is for readers of The Spectacular Now, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, and Paper Towns.

If you read my review to My Life Next Door you might know that Tim Mason was my favorite character. That is way I was really, really happy when I discovered that there's a book dealing with him and his life. Reading this book, I fell in love with Tim once again - he's such a precious human being, smart, funny and yes, I am in love. The rest of the characters are awesome as well. Alice plays an important role as well as the whole Garrett-Family. A very special shoutout to Mrs Garrett for being the way she is and Patsy for loving Tim just as much as I do. I really enjoyed reading the book up to the point where the main plot-twist happend. I ... just don't like this particular plot twist in YA novels and I really thought that I couldn't finish The Boy Most Likely To because of this. It turned out that it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, though. Both Tim and Alice (and the rest of the family) deal quite good with the situation given and I actually started to like the plot twist towards the end. The Boy Most Likely To is a lovley book I would recommend to everyone who likes Tim as much as I do and who wants to know how he's dealing with life.
