Classic Storycollection, wo einige Stories SO gut waren, dass wir uns echt gegruselt haben, während andere einfach nur verwirrend oder okay waren. Aber das wird auf jeden Fall nicht das letzte Buch der Autorin für uns sein und einige Geschichten davon werden Safe rereaded! 💛

A Sunny Place for Shady people ist eine Sammlung von 12 Horror/Supernatural/Spooky Kurzgeschichten. Die haben es manchmal echt in sich, aber ich würde hier keine großartige Storyline oder Plots erwarten, der Fokus lag meiner Meinung nach stark auf dem „Schock-Faktor“. Manche Storys fand ich besser als andere, am gruseligsten meiner Meinung nach war Black Eyes und The suffering woman und am besten fand ich Different Colors Made Of Tears. Auch die Zeichnungen sind sehr gruselig, das hat ein wenig was von dem Anime „Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre“, das ist so grob der Vibe von A sunny Place for shady people.
