Honestly happy that it’s over.
I’ve had problems with the last few dune books, but I still wasn’t able to dnf the series. But even if I didn’t like the last books, I’m happy that I got through & finished the story. & to be honest I think what bothered me the most, is the fact that a lot of big epic things happened between the books. I don’t like huge time gaps between books & Frank Herbert did that a lot. The whole political side of the books was just not the way I would have chosen to tell the story.
Die Honoured Matre gewinnen zunehmend an Macht in der Galaxies und machen zunehmend mehr Planeten, die durch die Bene Gesserit beherrscht werden, unbewohnbar, indem sie eine neuartige Waffe einsetzen. Deswegen hat die Reverend Mother Superior einen verwegenen Plan, eine Honoured Matre "umzudrehen". Das gelingt, und aus der Feindschaft wird eine brüchige Koexistenz. Zwischendurch zieht es sich ein wenig, aber man würde trotzdem gern weiterlesen.
