Sula felt very raw and harsh. I found that it represents friendships and fatal flaws in a way that felt timeless. The betrayal is real, the anger is real, the heartbreak is real, and that is why I like this book a lot. The dialogue was sharp and piercing and unforgiving, and what I took away most from this book is that sometimes, unforgiveness is the only option, and okay, even.
