    Super kurzweilige, verwirrend schnell geschriebene, tiefgründige Kurzgeschichten. In ja 40-50 Seiten mehr Charakter als viele „vollständige“ Bücher. Lediglich über das N-Wort bin ich im Kontext der Übersetzung gestolpert, das regelmäßig in fast jeder Geschichte gebraucht wird und eine zeitgenössischere Übersetzung hoffentlich nicht mehr beinhaltet. Gleichzeitig ist das Buch an vielen Punkten teils offene, teils unterschwellige Kritik am amerikanischen Klassensystem generell. Ansonsten: viel Sex, Drugs und Jazz, Glitz und Glamour.
