Erased (Altered, 2, Band 2)

I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC of Erased and I honestly have to say that it didn't disappointed me at all - on the contraty, it was even better than the first book Altered!! After finishing Altered I was amazed because I loved the book but somehow I worried if Jennifer will be able to continue the series without making the plot seem forced. But I was thrilled from the very first page to the last one! The book was full of surprises, plot twists and excitement, I physically couldn’t put it down. In my opinion the best thing about Erased was that the reader learns more about the characters backstories and the development of the boys (especially Nick, I loved that we learn more about him and even though he was my fav since the first book I love him even more now). If you liked Altered you should really check Erased out in January and if you haven’t even read Altered yet ... What are you waiting for? Go to the next book store and buy it!!

The reason Erased just got 3 stars was because some things started to annoy me plenty. Starting with Anna's character and actions. Then, I feel like Cas was just someone you throw in from time to time to get some dorky scenes? The plot felt too dragged until the very end, not to forget rushed. Some character's reason were I-don't-really-know-what-to-think-about-now plus I missed their depth. Nonetheless, I like the author's writing style and the main idea is cool, but the way it got out didn't really impress me much after all.

4.5 stars. I think the first book was just perfect. and the second was perfect too... okay it was perfect until, I'd say, 63%... then there was, according to me, a little too much suspense. the next 6 chapters we're not thaaat good, but after them it was sooo good again. Also I liked the ending if this book.
