A really good book intertwined with Korean history

A really interesting book and interesting protagonist. I liked how over the span of all those years we as reader get to follow along all the hardships and happy moments.

Confusing at first but it was interesting to see the story unfold in an occupied Korea in 1918

I just couldn't get into it. It wasn't bad by any means I was just very bored because I couldn't connect with the characters, and I was very confused about what was going on at times.

An interesting historical fiction. You get invested so quickly. It is amazing how connected everyone is. It does get heavy sometimes, but not too much. A heartbreaking but still wonderful story!
