A good book is one that make you confront your beliefs. This book made me do that. I honestly didn't like Julia's behaviour with respect to having an affair and I was reading this book angry at her. That said, it kept me hooked to the last page. I enjoyed the development of the relationships however the characters were not as well developed. Hugh seemed like a good man till the end when you realise everyone has faults. Lastly the ending was 10/10 for keeping us in suspense about what Julia was to do next.

The plot of this book sounded interesting. Julia, a happily married, respectable woman reading her sister's son as her own learns of her sister's death. She becomes obsessed with finding her sister's killer by retracing her sister's steps in online dating sites. I, was however disappointed. I found Julia to be a selfish and stupid character. this is also one of the worst books I've ever read. I hate leaving a book unfinished but I would have if I could.
